Neil Young Stronach

Neil Young Stronach, age 46, of Peachtree City, died November 7, 2011. Neil was the Senior Vice President of Operations Control for Delta Air Lines in Atlanta, Georgia. He began his career in 1988 as a Structural Engineer for American Airlines and held several
leadership positions in Production and Engineering at American. He came to Delta in 1998 as Director of Engineering Programs and subsequently held positions as Director of Planning and Director of Reliability. He was named Director-Aircraft Base Maintenance
in December of 2000 before his promotion to the Operations Control Center in 2004.
Mr. Stronach is survived by his wife of 22 years, Mary; his two sons, Easton and Chandler; his daughter Olivia and his mother Janet Stronach. Neil is preceded in death by his son, Sheldon Neil Stronach and his father Alan Georgeson Stronach. Neil is survived
by family members: Mary and Earl Williams, Glenn and Peggy Bessette, Micki and Cecil Carl and Steven Bessette. Neil is survived by family in the United Kingdom, Deryk Stronach and Trisha Stronach.
Mr. Stronach played ice hockey and coached in the roller hockey leagues in Peachtree City. He spent time with his boys playing video games and scuba diving. All of the family enjoyed water sports at their lake house. He proudly watched his daughter learning
to ride horses, English style.
Stronach held a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University.
