Mr. Jay Sanford Thompson, age 48, of Stockbridge, Georgia passed away August 2, 2011. Jay was born in Bellaire, Texas. He was a member of McDonough First Baptist Church. Jay enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing and camping.
Survivors are his children, Catherine Thompson, Zane Thompson and Kent Thompson all of McDonough; mother, Audrey Thompson of Houston, Texas; and a sister, Noel Thompson of Richmond, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Jess Noel Thompson.
Funeral service for Jay will be Saturday, August 6, 2011 – 3:00 PM at McDonough First Baptist Church with Rev. Austin Aldridge officiating. Interment will be at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 – 8:00 PM.
