Marc Dudley, 58, was born in Kermit, Texas on September 3, 1952 and passed in a Temple, Texas hospital on June 18, 2011.

There will be a graveside service 9:00 am on June 27, 2011 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas. A memorial service will follow at 10:30 am on June 27, 2011 at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel in Harker Heights, Texas.

The son of Benjamin Franklin and Tommie Lou Dudley grew up in Monahans, Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M in 1975 as a distinguished military graduate. He later earned a master's degree from the University of Southern California. Marc spent 22 years in the United States Army Field Artillery. He retired from the military in 1998 and has been employed as a program manager with Northrop Grumman Corporation. Marc was actively involved in the Harker Heights High School Booster Club and the Knights Baseball Program for the past ten years.

Marc is survived by his wife of 35 years, Gayle. He has three sons. They are James Dudley (and daughter-in-law, Sarah) of Richardson, Texas and Brent and Marc Lynn Dudley of Killeen. Marc is also survived by his sister, Kathy Dendy of Monahans, Texas and his brother, Michael Dudley from Rosanky, Texas. His is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews from Monahans, Lubbock, Brownwood, Conroe, College Station, and San Antonio. Marc's first grandchild will be born October 2011.

The family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Harker Heights Knights Booster Club PO Box 2665 Harker Heights TX 76548 in lieu of flowers.
