Michael William Lehman(1952 - 2011)
Michael William Lehman, 58, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2011. Funeral: Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m. Friday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Aledo. Interment: Aledo Brown Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends at 6 p.m. Thursday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home, with a rosary beginning at 7 p.m. Memorials: Building Fund at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, in lieu of flowers, should friends desire.
Michael William Lehman was born May 19, 1952, in Oakland, Calif., the son of William Leon and Leona June Waliser Lehman. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Texas A&M University. Michael retired after 23 years in the material engineering department at Lockheed Martin. In past years he served on the school board of St. Peter Catholic Church and was a member of the Aledo Booster Club. He enjoyed coin and stamp collecting and hunting. Michael was a loving and generous family man and will be dearly missed.
Michael was preceded in death by his son, Steven Michael Lehman. Survivors: Wife of 38 years, Liz Lehman; children, Jennifer Walker and her husband, Rick, of Castle Rock, Colo., Brad Lehman and Scott Lehman; granddaughter, Kathryn Walker; parents, Bill and June Lehman of Arvada, Colo.; sister, Dianne Guilinger and her husband, Jim, of Arvada, Colo.; brothers, Joe Lehman and his wife, Maggie, of Portland, Ore., and James Lehman and his wife, Linda, of Treasure Island, Fla.; sister-in-law, Jane Schmitt and her husband, Sheldon, sister-in-law, Diane Davies; and numerous friends, nephews and nieces.
