David Basye Meisenheimer
David Basye Meisenheimer of Lakeway, Texas, passed away on February 3, 2011 after a long illness. He was born in Jefferson, Texas on January 12, 1923, to Horace B. Meisenheimer and Margaret Wright Meisenheimer. He attended Texas A&M from 1940 to 1942, when
he was drafted into the United States Army to serve during World War II. After the war he returned to Texas A&M to complete his degree in Petroleum Engineering and Geology, after which he was employed by Texaco, Inc., retiring as an executive in 1984.
He is survived by his wife, June Ware Meisenheimer, his three children Glenda M. Stephens of Lake Livingston, TX, Patricia Lynne Boesel of San Jose, CA, David B. Meisenheimer, Jr. of Carrollton, TX, 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great
grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Lakeway Church, 2203 Lakeway Blvd., Lakeway, TX. Obituary and memorial guestbook available online at www.wcfish.com
