Born Jan. 16, 1933 in Amarillo, TX. Died Feb 2, 2011 in Fallbrook, CA at the age of 78.
He graduated from Texas A&M in 1955 and was Corps Commander. He served in the Army and Texas National Guard. While farming organically in Deaf Smith County, TX, he founded Arrowhead Mills Natural Foods Co. , Hereford, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
He is survived by his wife, Shwu Ching Haan Ford. He is also survived by his children, Davis W. Ford of B, TX and wife Gina, Cindy Skypala of Amarillo and husband Greg, Dan Ford of Allen, TX and wife Kim, and Susan Lee Ford of Amarillo; their mother, Marjorie Winn Ford; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson due in April; a brother, Davis L. Ford and wife Gwen; a sister, Susan Wiltshire and husband Ashley; nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
