Charles Edward Frith
Funeral services for Charles Edward Frith, 69, of Longview will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at Trinity Episcopal Church with the Reverend Shanna Suarez officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery in Carthage at 4 p.m. Services are
under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Mr. Frith passed away Monday morning, January 3, 2011, in a local hospital. The family will receive friends this evening, January 4, 2011, from 5-7 p.m. in the Trinity Episcopal Church Parish Hall.
Charles was born on May 19, 1941, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to D.C. and Frances Frith. He was a longtime member of Trinity Episcopal Church and has served on the Vestry and Endowment Boards in the past. Charles was a member of the Longview Rotary Club and a
Paul Harris Fellow. He was also a member of the North East Texas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. Charles enjoyed spending time with his sons hunting and loved spending time with his family on the family farm.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, D.C. and Frances Frith.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 44 years, Karen Frith; his sons, David Frith and his fiancé e Kay Stansbery, and Michael Frith and his wife Heather; and four grandchildren, Connor, Mason, Emma and Carter Frith.
The family requests that memorials be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, 906 Padon St. Longview, Texas 75601; or to the Antioch Cemetery Association, 2111 FM 2517 Carthage, Texas 75633.
