MR. JAMES ELLINGTONDONOVAN, beloved husband and father went to be with the Lord on August
21, 2010. He was born in Sweeney, Texas on February 1, 1930 to Leo Columbus and Selma Donovan.

Jim served in the Air Force during the Korean War. After his return he graduated from Texas A&M
University with a Bachelors' degree in Architectural Construction.
He is survived by Louise Donovan, his wife of 51 years, son, Mike; daughter Marguerite and her son James William Pieper; daughter Patricia and her husband Thomas Wellen, and children Christopher and Mika Wellen; son James L. and children Ryan and Natalie Donovan. He is also survived by his sister Patricia and her husband Tommy Thomas; brother-in law W.L. Gidden; and sister-in law Ailie Donovan. His parents; step-mother Anne Lou Donovan; sisters Betty Gidden and Mika Ray; twin brother Leo Donovan; son-in law Robert H Pieper; Uncle Barney and Aunt Glades Stevenson; and his step-sister Elsie and her husband Cleve O'Toole preceded him in death.

Jim worked for several construction companies in his lifetime. They include Trinity Construction; Brown and Root; Fish Engineering; and Don Love.

A memorial service will be held at St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church, 14301 Stuebner Airline, Houston, Texas at 10:00 A.M. on September 25, 2010. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Dunstan's or to your favorite charity.
