Weatherford Democrat July 26, 2010 Thomas 'Tom' Edward Riddle Cotten-Bratton Funeral Chapel WEATHERFORD ' Thomas 'Tom' Edward Riddle, 67, of Tin Top, passed away Friday, July 23, 2010, in Weatherford. Tom was born Aug. 25, 1942 in Parker County to William Robert Riddle Sr. and Chlorine Tankersly Riddle. He graduated from Weatherford High School in 1960. He graduated from Weatherford College in 1962. Tom graduated from Texas A&M University in 1965. He was co-owner of H&T Riddle, Inc. He was a member of the Parker County Sheriff's Posse. Tom served in the U.S. Air Force from July 1966 to 1972. Tom really loved his children and grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by son Bryant Franklin Riddle; grandson, William Edward Riddle Jr.; parents Bob and Chlorine Riddle; brother W.R. 'Dub' Riddle and sister Bobbie Riddle Johnson. Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years Janie Phillips Riddle; his son William 'Bill' Riddle and wife Jennifer, his daughter Tonya Davis and husband Bryan; four grandchildren, Tyler Riddle, Jacee Riddle, Lauren Davis, Megan Davis; sisters, Glenys Riddle Magee and Carol Riddle McDaniel; brother, Holton Riddle; all family members, many nieces and nephews, and many beloved neighbors and friends. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, Northside Baptist Church. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 26, at Cotten-Bratton Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Weatherford Little League, Pythian Home or the Tin Top Cemetery.
