Carl Ray Martin, 61, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2001, at his residence. Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Llano City Cemetery.

Carl attended college at T.C.U. in Fort Worth, Texas, and was a member of a fraternity on campus.

Survivors include his wife, Jerry Virdell of Llano, TX; son, Clay Randal Martin of Houston; daughter, Carolyn Greenwell of Katy; stepdaughter, Scottie Cure of New York City; and stepson, Rawdon Allen of Tempe, Ariz.
