James Thomas Cannan
JAMES THOMAS CANNAN, age 87, died Thursday, January 20, 2005 in Houston. Mr. Cannan was a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy in the American Theatre during World War II. He was a graduate of Texas A & M University, a member of The Association of Former Students of
Texas A & M University, West University Masonic Lodge and Memorial Drive Christian Church. He was preceded in death by wife Frances LaVerne Sloan Cannan. Mr. Cannan is survived by daughters Jamie DeGeorge and husband Lynn and Rosemary Schwarz and husband Timothy;
granddaughter Michelle Peacock and husband Nathan; great-granddaughters Sloan and Evellyn Peacock; grandson Douglas DeGeorge; granddaughter April Grotton and husband Stephen; great granddaughter Kristan and great grandsons Josh and Quentin. Friends are invited
to visitation with the family from three until five o'clock in the afternoon on Sunday, January 23, 2005 at Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive. Funeral services will be conducted at one o'clock in the afternoon on Monday, January 24, 2005 in the Jasek
Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive with Rev. Todd Adams of Memorial Drive Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Clark, Keith Cook, Douglas DeGeorge, Lynn DeGeorge, Nathan Peacock,
Youree Posey, Timothy Schwarz and Joe Snow.
