Ags Team Up to Form New MEP Company

Two Texas Aggies have teamed up, albeit with a Houston Cougar, to form the MEP Engineering consulting firm of Lee Truong & Yu, PLLC. Based in Houston, the firm specializes in the mechanical, electrical and plumbing design of schools, as well as institutional and commercial buildings.

The firm is headed by Li-wei Yu, P.E., Class of 1991, who serves as Managing Principal.  He is joined by the company principals Chi Truong, P.E., Class of 1996, and Sam Lee, P.E., LEED AP BD+C. The three worked together for nearly 20 years at another MEP Engineering consulting firm before launching the new firm in January 2015.

Lee Truong & Yu is headquartered in west Houston's Park Ten business district. Their clients are primarily in southeast Texas, but have ranged over the state.  Together, the three partners have extensive experience in the MEP industry. The three principals oversee all aspects of the design and construction process from MEP design and drafting to bidding and construction administration.
