What is your most memorable Aggie experience? April 21st, 2006. Sitting in a back room in Reed Arena with 23 other men, sons of Texas A&M. It was so quiet, but you could feel the sense of pride, honor and duty amongst us all. Not many dry eyes that evening, but very full hearts indeed.
How has your time at Texas A&M impacted where you are today, personally and/or professionally? Texas A&M instilled in me a tremendous sense of pride, but also responsibility. That hasn’t always been easy when times got tough, but it served to push me forward. My first deployment to Afghanistan, my Battalion S-3 told me that he expected more of me because I was an Aggie. That was challenging, and motivating. I’m proud of every Aggie’s accomplishments, even if I never knew them. That’s the sense of Esprit de Corps that comes with being an Aggie. We are the Aggies…the Aggies are We
Where do you want to be in 5 years? Professionally, I’d like to be the National Director of Federal Sales for Crestron Electronics, Inc. I handle all of the Army accounts for Crestron now, so I have a few mountains to climb yet, but I’ll see you at the top! Personally, I don’t know that I’d change much. I have an awesome girlfriend, friends, and family….I consider myself blessed.
Favorite way to spend free time? I love spending time with my girlfriend Shellee…time on the golf course is always nice, especially with my Corps buddies, and getting together for dinner with friends.
