Roll Call Tribute

Brian A. Holbert '85, 45, of Newport Beach, Calif. (formerly of Chicago City, Minn., and Rio Hondo), died March 30, 2009, from complications related to an acute episode of hepatitis. He served in the U.S. Army. After receiving an M.B.A. from Colorado State University, he spent most of his career with Arlon Inc., a leading manufacturer of various fabrics and adhesive applications for signage, working his way up from salesman to management in California, Texas and Australia. He was vice president of sales in the corporate office in Santa Ana, Calif., at the time of his death. Survivors include his parents, Jerry E. Holbert '69 and Robin J. Holbert '75, and a sister.
