Robert F. 'Smokey' McAdams '50, 88, of Grants Pass, Ore. (formerly of Bedias), died Oct. 7, 2008. He was an executive for Boy Scouts of America and also was a camp director at R.M. Pyles Boys Camp in the Sierra Nevadas in California. He moved to Grants Pass from Huntington Beach, Calif., in 1979. He was an Eagle Scout. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Lois; a son; a daughter; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
