Roll Call Tribute

James W. "Jim" Wells '47, 81, of Waco (formerly of Kemp; Aruba, Dutch West Indies and Dallas) died Dec. 13, 2006. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in the 494th Combardment Group in the Palau Islands and Okinawa. He worked for American Bridge Company in Pennsylvania and later in the aerospace industry which brought him to Rocketdyne in McGregor in 1963. He worked as sales manager for a local road paving manufacturing company before teaching civil engineering technology at Texas State Technical College. He was a registered professional engineer. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Barbara; a son; two daughters; and six grandchildren.
