Warren Schilling '56 December 8, 2009 12:00 AM

Warren P. Schilling '56, 85, of Fort Myers, Fla. (formerly of Miami), died July 3, 2009. He served on the battlefield in Gen. George S. Patton's Third Army during World War II and was recalled to active duty during the Korean War. He served in the U.S. Army in Europe, Taiwan, Lebanon, Vietnam and the U.S. He retired in 1978 at the Pentagon at the rank of colonel after more than 30 years of service. He joined Wheaton College in Illinois where he helped construct the Billy Graham Center. After eight years at Wheaton, he moved to Fort Myers in 1986. Survivors include a brother.
