Eugene Lamar "Gene" Seale Jr.
Seale, Jr., Eugene Lamar "Gene" Passed away May 19th, 2010. Gene was a devoted husband, loyal friend, and loving father. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ruby Nell Barclay Seale, son, Lamar Seale and wife Terry, daughter, Suzanne Knowles and husband James, daughter-in-law Roxanne Seale and six grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Keith Seale. Following his service in the army, Gene graduated in 1952 from Texas A&M with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Gene and his wife, Ruby, lived in Venezuela for seven years before moving to the Lake Highlands area in Dallas in 1960. Gene enjoyed a career and many friends in the oil and gas business. His greatest pleasure was fishing, hunting and camping with his sons as well as being active in the boy scouts in Troop 890 where he served as scout master. Gene was active in Lake Highlands United Methodist Church where he and his wife Ruby did volunteer work. He thoroughly enjoyed his bridge playing and helping Ruby with her antique business. Services will be held on Friday, May 21st @ 3:00pm at Lake Highlands United Methodist Church, 9015 Plano Road, Dallas, Texas 75238. Donations may be made to Lake Highlands United Methodist Church.
