Roll Call Tribute

Richard G. 'Rick' McPherson '62, 69, of College Station died Aug. 30, 2009. He served more than 27 years in the U.S. Marine Corps. His military awards include the Legion of Merit and two awards of the Meritorious Service Medal. He was vice president of Texas A&M Research Foundation from 1989 until he retired in 2006. He then owned and operated 4M Cattle Co. in Houston and Anderson counties. Survivors include twin sons, Michael G. McPherson '91 and Sean C. McPherson '91; two grandsons; and a sister.
