On December 29, 2007 Dunayra Sitton and Gerardo Méndez were married in Boquete, Panamá, Dunayra's hometown. Dunayra teaches Spanish at Jersey Village High School and Gerardo works as an Immigration Consultant at Emigra USA, LLC. They currently reside in Houston.
