Howdy guys,
Samecia Bloomfield, Class of ’01, is just writing to let you guys know that I have relocated to the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. In the fall, I will be teaching 7th grade English for Prince George’s County Public Schools and beginning my Masters of Science in Educational Studies at Johns Hopkins University.
At A&M, I was a member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Corps of Cadets, Animal-A (dead-zip ’01); Memorial Student Center Programming Council, MAGGIES, and the MSC Black Awareness Committee. I lived for four years on the Quad as a Corps diva and then a year off campus.
It was delightful receiving the newsletter in my e-mail. Keep those newsletters coming! Everett Broussard (E-1 Jock dead-zip ’01) and I ran into an Aggie c/o ‘87 who was visiting on business at the ESPN Sports Zone at the Baltimore inner harbor. I noticed him, not because of his Texas drawl, but because of his Aggie bling-oops I meant ring. We’re everywhere!
Stay up, and gig’em,
Samecia M. Bloomfield
