Delbert Eldo "Dee" Dawson, Jr. 

August 2, 1930 - June 5, 2021 

Longtime resident of Morgan Mill, Dr. D.E. Dawson passed peacefully from this earth at his home on the morning of June 5th, 2021.

After gaining his Doctor of Veterinary Science from Texas A&M, he and his wife Ann of 54 years opened practice in Canton, Tx. They took an opportunity and purchased their property in Morgan Mill 50 years ago to not only operate a dairy for many years but to also benefit the lives of many in the community and surrounding area utilizing his studies in both holistic and homeopathic medicine. He and Ann truly loved and enjoyed the area and its people from the moment they made the decision to relocate.

Dee was proceeded in death by his wife and life partner of 54 years, Ann Dawson on January 5th, 2013. He is survived by his children and their families, daughter Sharon Gerhardt of Bremerton, WA, daughter Dena Garrison of Abilene, TX, Greg Dawson of Morgan Mill and Guy Dawson of Stephenville. He and Ann were also blessed and are survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Dee will be greatly missed by all of us. The family has decided on a private service as Dee would have wished and request only your thoughts and prayers. No memorials or charity donations are requested.
