William Thomas "Buster" Yearout, Jr.
August 23, 1952 - June 14, 2025
William Thomas "Buster" Yearout, Jr., passed away on June 14, 2025, in Haslet, Texas, at the age of 72.
Born on August 23, 1952 in Dallas, Texas to William Thomas Yearout, Sr. and Georgeanna Adams, he graduated from Garland High School in 1970. Buster then became a proud Aggie of Texas A&M University and graduated in 1974. He began his profession with the El Chico Corporation and continued working in information technology for the remainder of his career.
He loved engaging with people and never met a stranger he couldn't find some kind of common ground to relate with them. He loved fun-hearted pranks with his infectious laugh, and he always had a good story to tell. Buster was so creative. If you could imagine it, he could bring it to life; furniture, paintings, metal works, there was nothing he wasn't willing to try, and he would succeed. We all knew, if Papa couldn't fix it, no one could fix it. He was tough as nails, never backed down when he knew he was right, and even if he wasn't, with his "You wanna bet?"
His family was the most important thing in his life. His love was complete and fierce. No matter what was going on, he was always a shelter to us, full of compassion and safety.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 24 years, Terry Yearout; his children; Katherine Burrow and husband Doug, Shawn Eldred and wife Candice, Regina Turpin and husband Tom, Jennifer Minney and husband Ryan, and Margaret Yearout; his grandchildren, Kayleigh Cantrell and husband Cody, Christopher Allen, Gareth Allen, Aiden Eldred, Reese Eldred, Bryson Eldred, Trinity Turpin, Tristyn Turpin, Timothy Minney, and Tyler Minney; his great grandchildren, Braxton Sheffield and Wrenleigh Sheffield. He also leaves behind his nieces, Natalie Renfro and husband David, and Adriane Bezusko; great-nieces, Alexis Burgess and husband Lee, and Devin Rorie and great-great nephew, August Fox, and sister, Bobbeye Estes-AkIn.
Buster joins in eternal rest with his parents, W. T. Yearout, Sr. and Georgeanna Yearout, and his sister Pamela Bezusko.
His legacy is one of selflessness, strength and enduring love. He inspired all those around him, bringing unforgotten joy.
Though our hearts are heavy, we are profoundly grateful for the time we shared, for the warmth of his bear hugs, words of wisdom, and the boundless love he gave us. His memory will always be a blessing to all who knew him.
