Lawrence Leroy "Larry" Bobo
March 22, 1936 - June 18, 2025
Larry Bobo, age 89, of Argyle, Texas passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Lake Village Nursing and Rehabilitation in Lewisville, Texas.
Larry was born on March 22, 1936, in Borger, Texas to Luther Leroy Bobo and Eula Mae Rush. He married Billie Marie Coleman on August 30, 1958, and was married for 67 years.
Larry graduated from Texas A & M University Industrial School of Engineering in 1958. Larry was a lifelong learner and lifelong supporter of Texas A & M School of Engineering. Larry had continued relationships with many of his A&M Corp buddies over the years as well as his lifelong friends from his hometown of Jacksonville. Larry and Billie were rarely apart, working together for many years and raising two daughters, traveling and making time to be with their eleven grandkids. They especially enjoyed spending time together in Colorado.
Larry also served four years in the US Army and was discharged as a 1st Lieutenant. Larry and Billie raised two daughters, Lisa Marie and Michelle Renee and were blessed with eleven grandchildren: Travis, Jacob, Colby, John David, Marie, Emma, Paul, Connor, Clayton, Michaela and Cavan. They were also blessed with four great grandchildren: Katlyn, Hadley, Fulton and Edison.
Larry worked in California from 1963 – 1972 as a quality engineer until relocating to Texas to start PMCo in 1973. The humble beginnings began with a used press, one customer and a rented space in Carrollton, TX. His wife, Billie, was the first press operator and bookkeeper.
Larry is survived by his wife of 67 years, Billie, daughters, Lisa Marie and her husband, Mike and Michelle Renee and her husband, Chad Augspurger and their families. He is also survived by brother and sisters-in-laws, Bill and Peggy Tilden and Janet Beal. A special thank you goes out to longtime friend, Nancy Medina.

Larry’s funeral service will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville, Texas. Larry will be laid to rest with military honors in the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at 11:15AM.
