January 9, 1966 - March 26, 2025

Ronald "RT" Joseph Thomas, born January 9th, 1966, passed away March 26th, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Dale Thomas, sister Susan Elizabeth "Beth" Thomas.
Survivors include his mother, Jeannine Thomas Campbell; brother and his wife, Rusty and Kim Thomas, Godson, Benjamin Manaois, Uncle and his wife, Bill and Sherry Whitlock.
Also left to cherish his memory are his nieces and nephews he loved dearly, Amanda and Andy Qualls, Emily and Kyle Fisher, Matthew Thomas, Landon and Haden Qualls, Elizabeth Fisher, Kutter Fisher; Cousins, Jennifer and James Smallwood, Wendy and Tony Huntoon, Shawn and Heather Whitlock, Mason, Preston and Ashton Smallwood, Riley and Nolan Whitlock.
Ronnie was a self made man. Beginning at age 13 bailing hay, during high school working for a music store, keeping lawns and as a delivery person. While at Texas A&M he paid his own way working at the Texas Highway department on the road crew, earning a degree in Civil Engineering. He was a dedicated employee of Lochner.
Ronnie struggled with an incurable disease for 6 years. He found new ways to make this disease bearable. He was an optimist.
Ronnie was a very special young man. He was happy and made others happy. This was shown in many ways. A heart for others in need, St. Jude's received his contribution on a regular basis for 50 years. These contributions were in the memory of his sister " Beth "
Having attained a black belt in Taekwondo he taught such to young children. He was a member of the Gun Club. Other interests included tennis, soccer, archery, games, his family was very special and he looked forward to each holiday. The gifts he brought at Christmas were always the best.
