It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alice May Zheng. Alice passed away on January 11th, 2025, in Houston, Texas at the age of 21. Alice was born on May 5th, 2003, in Houston, Texas. She was the youngest of two children. She attended Stephen F. Austin High School which she graduated from in 2021. Following graduation, she attended Texas A&M University pursuing a degree in Biology.
Alice's love for those around her shined in her interactions and conversations with strangers, friends, family, and peers alike. She was well known by all for her remarkable ability to listen to and understand others dilemmas or stories while also providing great insight and uplifting advice. She was noted for her wisdom, quick wit, sly humor, and steadfast support for anyone in need. Alice had a true gift for ensuring those closest to her felt protected and loved, and was always there to provide support in the background. Alice was a woman of many facets and talents. With a love of all things arts and crafts, she was an avid reader, video gamer, musician, baker, scholar, and fiber art enthusiast. Growing up, Alice thoroughly enjoyed tennis, and classical dance performance. Alice lived a vibrant life filled with curiosity and love. Some of her earliest passions and aspirations were to care for and study all things wildlife. Alice was a natural around animals and pets and could often be found enjoying the company of both.
Alice is survived by her mother Ping Liu, father Chenghua Zheng, brother Andrew Zheng, pet terrier Phebee, and a host of extended family and friends.
