Sharon Giles Boehck
April 14, 1946 - March 5, 2024
Sharon Giles Boehck passed away peacefully in Sugar Land, Texas at the age of 77 on March 5, 2024. Born April 14, 1946, raised in the City of Bellaire, she was a graduate of Bellaire High School and was one of the first women to attend Texas A&M University. She was our guiding light, a force of nature in life and love, had a fabulous sense of style, lit up every room she walked into and had the best sense of humor!
One of her passions was her church – The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany where she and family were parishioners since 1968. She also enjoyed traveling, playing tennis (HLTA 20+ years), snow skiing, playing bridge with friends, gardening, reading books, crossword puzzles, celebrating and decorating for every holiday and cooking for everyone. Her greatest love was spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren and Lake Conroe condo getaway weekends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mildred and William Stacey Giles Sr., brothers Bill Jr., Douglas Doug and Terry Giles and is survived by her husband of 60+ years, Richard (Richie) Boehck, son Rick (Tanya), daughter Paige (Kelly), grandchildren Taylor and Ricky, brothers-in-law Steve Boehck, Alan Bies and Greg Tyner, sister-in-law Curtie Giles, nieces Karen Berres, Stacey Clark and Morgan Tyner, nephews Alan Giles, Michael Giles, Trevor and Grant Tyner, cousin Donna Giles and many great nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
A heartfelt thank you to our friends and caregivers Martha, Lenise, Barbara, Sky and Rachel for taking care of our mother / wife as well as their love and unwavering support.
