Darrell Jay Kelsoe 

December 27, 1957 - February 3, 2024 

Darrell Jay Kelsoe, 66, of Godley, Texas, passed away on February 3, 2024. He was born on December 27, 1957, in Houston, Texas.

Darrell was a loving husband to Susan Kelsoe and a devoted father to his son Hunter Kelsoe, daughter in law Kendall Kelsoe, daughter Kimberly Becker, son in law Robert Becker, daughter in law Natalia Prescott, and son in law Jon Nylund. He adored his grandchildren Harris Becker, Clara Kelsoe, and Pierce and Olivia Nylund. Darrell was also a beloved son to Melba Kelsoe and a cherished brother to Neil, Craig, Ken, and Randy Kelsoe. His faithful companion, Beaux Aggie, the family dog, brought him joy and companionship throughout the years.

Darrell had a passion for life and was known for his organized nature, intelligence, and loving personality. He had a knack for fixing things around the house and was always ready to lend a helping hand. His sense of humor brightened every room he entered, making him the life of the party. Darrell's hard work and dedication were evident in everything he did.

An alumnus of Texas A&M University, Darrell valued education and continued to support his alma mater throughout his life. In his free time, he enjoyed cooking delicious meals, playing golf, and boating. He was an avid fan of Aggie football, always cheering on his favorite team. Darrell also took pride in his home projects, constantly improving his surroundings.

Darrell Jay Kelsoe will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to us all.
