Virgil E. Mulanax 

October 21, 1937 - June 6, 2023 

Virgil was born October 21, 1937 in Kilgore, Texas and passed in his home in Bandera, Texas, June 6, 2023.

Virgil was graduate of Texas A&M College (before it became Texas A&M University), Class of 1960, and was a proud member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band. He earned a Juris Doctorate from SMU Law School in 1970 and later elected District Judge for Upshur and Marion Counties in Texas from 1974 to 1986. After his elected service, Virgil presided as a Former Judge in over 100 counties across Texas.

Virgil is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lynda (Ellison) Mulanax; children and grandchildren.
