Harvey Wayne Jahn, 81, of Hallettsville, Texas, passed away February 4, 2021. He was born on May 16, 1939, to Mary Josephine Jahn in Hallettsville.

He served 20 years in the US Navy. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. His mother died when he was a teenager, and was raised by his foster parents, Gus & Gertrude Appelt.

Funeral Mass Service (All attendees must wear masks): 2 pm, Saturday, February 13, 2021, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville, TX; with Rosary starting at 1 pm; and Visitation starting at 12 noon. Pallbearers: Brian Jahn, Travis Jahn, Devin Mertz, Matthew Motal, David Pastucha, and William Pastucha Jr. Honorary Pallbearers: Leon Jahn, David Polasek, Robert Polasek, Michael Bradberry, Ray Renken, Dalton Herrington and Ethan Clendenen. Officiant: Msgr. John Peters. Memorials: Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Donor’s Choice. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
