Adel A. "Ed" Kharbat 

March 29, 1944 - March 13, 2023

Adel "Ed" Kharbat, Class of 1970, passed away March 13, 2023.

He was a proud alumnus of Texas A&M University, where he attended from 1966 to 1970, graduating with a degree in Civil Engineering. He continued his education, receiving his PhD in Civil Engineering.

He loved everything about Texas A&M and would often tell stories of his time there. He was a true Aggie at heart and remained a dedicated fan. He even influenced 17 additional family members to follow receiving their degrees from A&M as well, including his 3 daughters.

As a Civil Engineer, he dedicated his career to improving the infrastructure of his community. The city of Conroe honored him by naming a street after him for his years of service. His contributions to our society cannot be overstated.

His family and friends will always remember him as a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, kind friend, and honorable Aggie.
