William Morris Paulk

August 17, 1924 - March 2, 2023

William Morris Paulk passed away on March 2, 2023 in Plano, Texas at the age of 98. He was born on August 17, 1924 in Vernon, Texas to Thomas Lawrence Paulk and Minnie Nora Green.

He served his country in World War II as a bombardier/navigator in the Army Air Corp and proudly served in Belgium, England, and France. Morris and Alma worked in Sumatra with the Standard Vacuum Oil Company for five years. They then formed a management company serving several neighborhoods in Dallas, and Plano in the Willow Bend neighborhoods.

Later Morris married Jeanne Strom Kalahar, and although Alma and Morris had no children, he was a loving grandfather to Sarah and Spencer and a great friend to Amy, Tracy, Pat, and Stephanie.

Morris was a great patriot; he loved his country and the great state of Texas. He was kind and generous to all. He was thankful for the great doctors, nurses, and caregivers.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Lawrence Paulk, and his mother, Minnie Nora Paulk, his twin sister Margie and two brothers Edsel Paulk and Alton "Tom" Paulk.

His beloved wife of 58 years, Alma Dee Gaunt, his childhood sweetheart, also preceded him.
