Dr. William H. "Bill" Hoegemeyer 
February 8, 1940 - February 8, 2023

William “Bill” Hoegemeyer passed way peacefully on February 8, 2023, on his 83rd birthday.

Bill was born in Weimar, Texas, on February 8, 1940, to parents Louise and Willie Hoegemeyer. He attended Weimar public schools and graduated from Weimar High School in 1958.

He then attended Texas A&M University, graduating in 1962. Following his graduation, Bill proudly served two years as an officer in the United States Army with one year in Korea. Bill then went to Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 1969. He was the long-time owner of Hoegemeyer Animal Clinic in Kerrville, Texas. 

Funeral services will be held at the Weimar United Church in Weimar, Texas on Monday, February 13, 2023 at 2 pm. Visitation will begin at the Church starting at 1 pm.

Interment will be in the Weimar Masonic Cemetery in Weimar, Texas.

Survivors include: daughter-Gretchen Hoegemeyer of Fredericksburg; son-Will Hoegemeyer of Costa Rica; brother-Howard Hoegemeyer/wife Sandra of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.
