Nominations for the 2023 campus Muster speaker are open until Nov. 18 at tx.ag/Speaker2023. Submit a name you think would be a good choice, and if you have any questions, the student Muster Committee can be reached at musterspeaker@gmail.com.
Last year's campus Muster speaker was Mark A. Welsh III, dean of Texas A&M's Bush School; in 2021, Gen. T. Michael Moseley '71 gave the campus Muster address. Association donors provide $15,000-$16,000 annually for the ceremony as well as supporting Musters worldwide.
Speakers are also needed at many of the 250-plus local Musters that will be held in 2023.
To volunteer as a Muster speaker, or to find a speaker for your local Muster, visit The Association of Former Students' Speakers Bureau: AggieNetwork.com/SpeakersBureau.
This month, The Association began sending Muster planning information to hundreds of Muster chairs worldwide. Visit tx.ag/HostAMuster to learn how you can become a Muster host.
Over 270 Musters were registered with The Association last year, and 21 are already registered for 2023; view the map at tx.ag/FindAMuster. More will be added as April draws near.
