Good news, Ags; the Aggie Park Kickoff Concert will resume at approximately 8:55 p.m.! Max Stalling '89 will go on first and Robert Earl Keen will follow. The show is back on!
[Friday 7:37 p.m.] Due to a threat of severe weather, the Aggie Park Kickoff Concert activities are suspended for at least 30 minutes (starting at 7:21 p.m.) and until 30 minutes after lightning strikes in the area cease.
If a decision is made to resume concert activities, announcements will be made at the stage, on @AggieNetwork Twitter and at tx.ag/AggieParkConcertUpdate.
[Friday 3:58 p.m.] We're advised there's still pre-paid parking available in the Stallings Garage next to the Texas A&M Hotel, and that there is $5 cash-only event parking in the West Campus Garage, Lot 60 and Lot 61.
[Friday 11:36 a.m.] Remember, umbrellas can't be used during the concert: Find all the info about what to bring and NOT bring at tx.ag/AggieParkConcertFAQ. Parking information is also at that link! Light showers won’t halt events, but if severe weather develops, check back here (link: tx.ag/AggieParkConcertUpdate) or check @AggieNetwork on Twitter.
[Thursday 2:23 p.m.] Questions coming to our front desk: "I RSVPed to the concert but haven't received a ticket; what should I do?" No worries - you did it right! There won't be a ticket, either print or digital. Your RSVP has helped us gauge possible crowd size to help estimate the need for water stations, restrooms and event staff, and we are grateful to you for RSVPing!
[Thursday 1:08 p.m.] Two campus flyovers scheduled for Saturday: Details here.
IMPORTANT: If you go from the Aggie Park Kickoff Concert straight to Midnight Yell, be aware that Kyle Field has a clear bag policy and that you won’t be able to leave items like chairs or coolers in the park during Yell – they will be thrown away as the park is cleared for the next morning's events. You may want to store such items in a vehicle before you head to Yell!

Aggie Park was developed entirely as a private project and gift to the university, using no university funds. Donors have given $36 million so far to create this enduring gift for the entire Aggie Network to enjoy year-round. It was envisioned as an "outdoor MSC" with spaces to study, relax and gather.
The Aggie Park Kickoff Concert is free thanks to sponsors led by Southwest Airlines, the Office of Texas A&M University System Chancellor John Sharp ’72, the Office of Texas A&M President M. Katherine Banks, and Bob ’85 and Kelly ’86 Jordan.
The Association of Former Students led the park's development and coordinated the concert. Every year, The Association supports hundreds of thousands of Aggies with programs and services for current and former students. Learn how to plug into your Aggie Network!
