Aggies Cover Beijing Olympics

In February, two former students traveled to Beijing to cover the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. 

Rick Rojas '10 covered the games for The New York Times, providing live updates on his Twitter account in addition to published articles. Rojas' coverage took him to the Great Wall.

Rojas primarily covered curling, and reported on everything from the Olympic arena's house band of bagpipers to the Olympic curling icemakers

Cecil Bleiker '96, who has worked 12 Olympic games, also covered the Beijing Olympics, serving as an International Olympic Committee media expert. Bleiker has been involved with the Olympics since 1997 and has worked with world-class athletes, including Michael Phelps, Lindsay Vonn, and Apollo Ohno.
