As Aggies prepare to gather around the world for Muster 2022, one member of the Class of 2012 is hosting a new event: a virtual Military Aggie Muster, for all Aggies who serve or have served in the military.
“This is a proof-of-concept event to hopefully host a similar event annually,” said U.S. Navy Lt. Maximilian Leutermann '12.
Aggies have long Mustered at or near military bases – 10 such Musters for 2022 are listed below – but gathering together in person isn’t possible for all.
“The goal of this event is to provide a space for Aggies to gather together virtually and catch up and have a traditional Muster experience when they may not be able to get to a Muster near them, or to meet old friends who may not be near them due to military obligations,” said Leutermann, who is part of the Young Alumni Council of The Association of Former Students.
He is hosting the event on a virtual meeting platform called Preciate to allow socializing and discussion.

The event is scheduled for 3 p.m. U.S. Central time, Leutermann said, “with the hopes that Aggies from all over the world join.”
For 2022, at least 10 Aggie Musters are taking place in person at or near U.S. military posts and bases, including Al Asad Airbase and Erbil, Iraq; Camp Arifjan, Kuwait; Vandenberg Space Force Base, California; Fort Rucker, Alabama; Fort Polk, Louisiana; Killeen/Fort Hood, Texas; Lawton-Fort Sill, Oklahoma. The Emerald Coast A&M Club is Mustering on Pensacola Bay, Florida; and, not far from Ramstein Air Base in Germany will be the Ramstein A&M Club/Stuttgart Aggies Muster in Heidelberg.
They are part of more than 250 Aggie Musters being held around the world; see all at tx.ag/FindAMuster.
All Aggies, friends and family can livestream the Worldwide Roll Call and campus Muster on April 21 at MusterLive.AggieNetwork.com. Read more about how to watch those events at tx.ag/WatchMusterLive2022.
The Association of Former Students provides support to local Musters and the student-run campus Muster, maintains the yearly Muster Roll and sends out thousands of Muster invitations each year. This work is possible because of Association donors' annual gifts. Thank you! To help us help more Aggies, visit tx.ag/Give.
