Rex "Brad" Arnold '84 January 19, 2022 2:54 PM updated: January 19, 2022 3:18 PM

Rex Bradford Arnold
December 07, 1961 - January 7, 2022

Beloved husband, father, son, brother, pastor, and friend.

Rex Bradford Arnold, 60, of Springdale, AR, peacefully passed on Friday, Jan 7, 2022 following complications from a planned open heart surgery.

Brad was born in Nacogdoches, Texas to Rex and Chety Arnold. He graduated from White Oak High School. He was a member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 1984, majoring in chemical engineering. He prepared for the ministry at The Master’s Seminary, where he earned his master’s and doctoral degrees. He was the loving husband of Kim for 35 years and the absolute best dad to his four children.

Brad enjoyed woodworking, golfing, and fishing. He loved to camp, hike, remodel his homes to perfection, play with his kids, and share fellowship and engaging conversation with all. But his greatest joy was in reading, studying, and teaching the Word of God. He was a faithful servant for over 30 years in churches in Texas, Idaho, and Arkansas. He was known as a gifted teacher, a humble man, and a dear friend.

He is survived by his wife, Kim '86; his children Rex Andrew Arnold, John Arnold and wife Macy, Laura Arnold '18 and fiancé Travis Taylor, and Lydia Arnold; his father Rex Arnold and wife Becky; sisters Stephanie Small and husband Steven, Charlotte Taylor and husband James, and Jennifer Walls and husband, Jeff; nieces and nephews; and precious extended family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Chety Arnold, and loved aunts and uncles.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 7 PM at Grace Baptist Church, 2409 W. New Hope Road, Rogers, AR.

In lieu of flowers, there will be a designated giving link on the Anchor Bible Church website: www.anchorbiblenwa.com/giving
