Aggies helping Aggies: For over 140 years, and continuing now, The Association provides help in time of need. From helping A&M professors take their classes online and keeping student workers on the payroll, to making sure a student could stay enrolled and the sudden need to put Muster online-only for the first time in history, Association donors make it possible.
Stories of Impact is a video series highlighting people, groups and organizations that have benefited from the generosity of donors to The Association of Former Students.
This episode tells the story of Corbin Franklin ’24, who came to Texas A&M in 2020 to pursue his dream of becoming an Aggie and earning a doctoral degree in higher education administration.
In early 2021, he was in a serious car accident, and he turned to The Association for help. Thanks to generous donors, he was able to purchase medical insurance to assist with the remaining costs from major surgery and subsequently continue his studies and research at Texas A&M.
Through such assistance funds, The Association provides immediate relief for students like Corbin, and instills a lifetime mindset of selfless service and giving: the Aggie Network in action.
