Mark Lam '87 Joins Pfluger as Chief Operating Officer

PRESS RELEASE: Pfluger Architects announces the hiring of Mark Lam, Ph.D., AIA, LEED AP, ALEP as Chief Operating Officer, a new position for Pfluger. Mark has been a consultant for Pfluger since 2013 and before that spent more than two decades with SHW Group, (now Stantec).
“Mark has already contributed to the firm with his balance of innovative thinking and hands-on practicality,” said Brad Pfluger, President. “We expect he will eclipse those contributions in this new role.”
Mark is a proud Aggie. After graduating with a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture in 1987, he went on to receive his Master of Architecture in 1993, and Doctor of Philosophy in Architectural Education in 1997, all from Texas A&M University.
Mark is an author, speaker, and inventor with nationally and internationally recognized work including four TASA/TASB Caudill Awards, two AIA Design Awards, one A4LE MacConnell Award, and one A4LE MacConnell Award Finalist.
