Three '06ers promoted to USAF Lieutenant Colonel

The Air Force Personnel Center on October 12th said that 1,308 field grade officers have been selected for promotion as part of the calendar year 2018B selection board process.
Included are three of our very own '06ers promoted to Lieutenant Colonel!
Juan Jurado (Sq 17)
Keaton Askew (Sq 17)
Bill Strohecker (Sq 8 )
More importantly, all three were selected two years ahead of their peers (referred to as Two Below the Zone). There's approximately a 3% chance to be promoted early, so to have three Aggies in this list is a huge testament to Texas A&M and the Corps of Cadets!
Personnel officials said that 1,270 Line of the Air Force majors were selected for promotion to lieutenant colonel. And 38 captains were selected to become majors in the Medical Service Corps.
