Connecting With Young Alumni Donors: Zachary W. “Zach” Glenn ’05

Travis Acker '20 July 20, 2018 11:03 AM updated: July 24, 2018 1:30 PM

Since Zach Glenn was a young boy, he had wanted to go to school in the Eller Oceanography and Meteorology Building at A&M. His childhood dreams came true when he was accepted to A&M as a meteorology major. He even served as the president of A&M’s meteorology association, TAMSCAMS.

Outside of the classroom, Zach recalls fond memories of his time spent at Kyle Field. Once as he was selling 12th Man Towels for the 12th Man Student Foundation, he was star struck when Dave South walked by and personally greeted him with a “Howdy.” He was also able to share a year at A&M with his future wife, Monica ’08.

On becoming a member of the Century Club Zach said, “to give to the Century Club made me feel like I was part of the elite graduates who had come before me and earned the sticker that they proudly wear on the back of their vehicles.” He has remained a member because he knows his contributions are making a difference. “The love of my University inspires me to continue to give. I want to make sure that Texas A&M University has the funds and means to grow and benefit future Aggies.”
