Houston, TX, April 3, 2018: Crain Caton & James
announced that Jocelyn Thibodaux Slater joined the firm as an associate in the
Fiduciary Litigation Practice Group.
Jocelyn focuses on probate, guardianship, trust and
fiduciary litigation. She also handles probate, administration,
guardianship and trust cases. Prior to joining Crain Caton & James,
her work as an attorney covered a wide array of practice areas, including business transactions, business litigation and
probate.
According to Darlene Payne Smith, a shareholder in the
Fiduciary Litigation Practice, “Her business law abilities add to an already amazing young
team ready to serve you under the guidance of seasoned litigators.”
Jocelyn
received her J.D. from South Texas of Law in 2015 and is a certified mediator
in the State of Texas. While at South
Texas, Jocelyn was an active member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution
Advocates—placing
8th as a team in the 2015 International Law School Mediation
Tournament in London, England. She
received her B.A. in Telecommunications Media Studies from Texas A&M
University.
