MICHAEL ELLIOT BERGSTROM EL CAMPO - Michael Elliot (Bergie) Bergstrom passed away Feb. 27, 2018 in El Campo at the age of 64. He was born Dec. 29, 1953 in El Campo to Raymond Charles and Ouida Kathleen Hudson Bergstrom. He was a member of Century Club Texas
A&M University, Texas State Domino Tournament Hall of Fame 2018, former TASO High School Umpire and Little League Coach and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. He enjoyed playing Texas Holdem Poker. He was a rice farmer and a traffic controller for
Greenleaf Nursery. He is survived by his mother, Ouida Bergstrom of El Campo; brother, Russell Warren Bergstrom and wife Amy of El Campo; niece, Emily Bergstrom of El Campo and nephew, Peyton Bergstrom of El Campo. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond
Charles Bergstrom. Visitation will be 2 - 6 p.m. Sunday, March 4 at Wheeler Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 5 at St. Paul United Methodist Church with Pastor Beverly Schmidt and Rev. Dr. Dan Milford officiating. Burial will follow
at Garden of Memories. Serving as pallbearers will be Tommy Turner, James Turner, David Neeley, Chuck Neeley, Buddy Reed and Mark Sablatura. At the request of the family, memorials may be made to Houston Hospice - El Campo, P.O. Box 1417, El Campo, Tx 77437
