The American Quarter Horse Association, March 5, 2018 – Cindy Chilton-Moore of Broken Arrow Oklahoma has been elected as a 2018-2019 American Quarter Horse Association national director.
The annually elected AQHA directors are charged with helping established rules and policies relative to AQHA’s various programs and voting on items from the AQHA standing committees. One of the most significant tasks for AQHA’s board is its responsibility for adopting all rules and regulations relative to registering American Quarter Horses.
AQHA is pleased to have Chilton-Moore assume a role in assisting with AQHA initiatives. In addition, the new director will promote AQHA programs, membership and the registration of eligible horses through contact with individuals and groups, and imitate communication to AQHA regarding constituents’ issues. Chilton-Moore will serve as a positive communication link between AQHA and its membership in Oklahoma.
The AQHA Board of Directors meets annually during the
Association’s convention. The 2018 AQHA
Convention was March 2-5, 2018 in Jacksonville Florida. During the convention, standing committees
met to review member-proposed changes, program suggested and make
recommendations to the AQHA Board of Directors.
