National construction law firm Peckar & Abramson, P.C. (P&A) is pleased to announce that attorney Brandon Rutledge has joined the firm’s Houston office as a Litigation Associate.

Anaccomplishedlitigator, Rutledgefocuses his practice on construction law, commercial litigation, and energy & defense matters. His clients includea range of professionals in the construction, energy and manufacturingsectors, including owners, contractors, sureties, energy firms, and public and private companies. Rutledgehas earned a reputation for energetic representation andoffers his clients efficient and strategic legal guidance.

Prior to joining Peckar & Abramson, Rutledge served as defense counsel for a Houston-based energy firm that represented oil and gas entities across all 50 states. In this capacity, he not only represented several of the region’s leading companies in high-stakes litigation but also in negotiating complex acquisitions.

Rutledgeis admitted to practice in the State of Texas. He earned his J.D. from South Texas College of Law and his B.S. in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M Universitywith an emphasis in Policy & Economic Analysis and a Minor in Business. At A&M, he served as the Senior Class President, while also serving as an Executive Officer in the Corps of Cadets,where he was awarded a Certificate in Leadership Study and Development from the University’s School of Military Sciences.
