Czech Sisters Meet Aggie in Prague

My sister and I are both half Czech on our father's side, so coming "home" to Prague (in June of 2016) was an amazing adventure that we as sisters will always cherish and remember. On our trip, we met another Aggie, Robert Vacek, Class of 1971 from East Bernard, Texas, a small Czech town west of Houston. We spent our last day with him and his wife shopping through Old Town and had dinner together at a local Czech restaurant. We talked about memories of our beloved Texas A&M, relatives and friends we mutually knew and shared stories of life's mountains and valleys. We exchanged phone numbers and parted ways with big hugs and a promise to get together again once we were back in our other home, Texas.

The hashtag #AggiesEverywhere could not hold more true! I am so thankful for Texas A&M and all the amazing connections it has brought into my life, even when halfway across the world. My heart is so full heading home to Houston.
