He was born July 9, 1962 in Dallas, Texas to James Roy Morris and Julia Beth Dodson. Jim married Kim Huitt on June 11, 1988 in Irving. He was a member of Valley Ranch Baptist Church in Irving.
Jim is survived by his wife, Kim; children, Tyler Morris and Niki Morris; mother, Judy Reeves and sister, Karen Lancaster.
