The Starbucks holiday cup will feature a Texas A&M student's design.
The design by Christina Anderson '16, a landscape architecture student, is available at Starbucks stores in Latin America and East Asia. It is one of the global coffee chain’s 13 holiday cups.
“I have a lot of friends who live abroad and like to travel and they’ve been sending me pictures with my cup design,” said Anderson, who is spending fall 2016 at the College of Architecture’s study abroad venue in Bonn, Germany.

Coffee is apparently an important part of the student lifestyle for many Aggies. The Battalion reports that the three Starbucks locations on campus generate the most revenue of any college campus in the nation for the coffee giant:
According to Chartwells representative Courtney Bryant, all the campus locations combined go through an average of 119 gallons of coffee a day. Breaking down the coffee consumption, that number is equivalent to 15,232 ounces or 1,270 cups of tall-sized — 12 ounces — coffee sold.
