Arnoldo Rodriguez '13 posted on the Texas A&M Class of 2013 Facebook page that he dropped his Ring in Lake Travis this past summer and that a kind gentleman from the University of Texas in Austin recently returned it.
While Matt Jacobs—the scuba diving instructor who returned Arnoldo's Ring—is a 1990 Longhorn graduate, his son, Cameron, is a former student of Texas A&M and, coincidentally, a member of the Class of 2013.
If you've ever wanted to see a photo of an Aggie Ring on the Texas Exes website, here you go. Also, while you're over there, check out the recently published story about a UT class ring that was lost for nine years and has now been returned to its Longhorn owner—by an Aggie.
"When she married an Aggie, he replaced her class ring as a wedding gift, but not before inscribing 'gig 'em' on the inside of the band."
